Just so you know, the use of a quote does not inherently mean the endorsement of everything ever said by the quote's originator. Just sayin'. In case there could be some confusion.
Today is the first time to my knowledge we are posting a video that isn't from YouTube. It's from Yahoo. And it's Bugs Bunny. Not his greatest, but there are a couple of funny parts. Enjoy!
Thanks to Steve we now have RSS. What does RSS
stand for, you ask? What
does it do, you ask?
It's used to make sites look like they're really cool and modern. Note the RSS symbol in your browser's address bar (at least it's in mine - I'm using Mozilla).
Who's bringing the cake to this party?
Can you believe it's already been two years for DimeBrothers?
Nice to know ESPN has one of their main widgets back up and running. It was on our home page previously before they decided to fire widget operator 2 and stop updating it altogether. So I had switched to putting up Fake Solitaire and Fake Asteroids on our main page. Now I'm back to something people care a little more about. Rather, I'm back to something "person" cares a little more about. (I needed to capture the right quantity of readers.)
Google is no longer running the ad program where we got our banners from. They left us a winded email about Double Click and doing stuff with other people. Enh. Sounds like a lot of work to switch, so for now, no advertisements here.
This blog has been running amok.
I might set a PR here for lack of writing - and I'm about to go abroad for about two weeks! That'll add to the tally of days since my last article!
I replaced the ESPN widget on the main page because those ESPN widgets never really worked right. Asteroids supposedly will remember your score but I haven't seen my name listed in the rankings. Oh well. Game play is decent and it's a nice little diversion.
I wish all the widgets yahoo offered were embed-able instead of having to be downloaded. Then I'd include some of those.
I guess ESPN's widget guy is on vacation, since they haven't updated the articles in about forever.
