This time the audition experience is from reader Bill Gage. Obviously he deserves to get on the show since he uses the word "wag" in this article. It sounds British, and thus, insanely intelligent.

Some might call this agency. Whatever you want to call it, I've got a pretty good rambling article on it right here. You can choose to read it... or not.

I was listening to a book on CD this past weekend and the guy used the word solecism...I had to look it up. Of course, I missspeelt it so I also got to learn some other words courtesy of Merriam Webster. I do this at the risk of being sciolistic.

Imus - 2 Cents

Interesting about that Imus radio guy. I had never even heard of him until some presidential hopefuls went on his show recently.

He used very insulting language in regards to the players on the Rutgers' basketball team, which is of course despicable. There is justifiably an outcry and eagerness to punish him for what he said. But where are all those free speech advocates lining up to protect his right to say whatever he wants? Someone's gotta be speaking out on his behalf, right? Or are most free speech advocates just selective of the free speech they support? If I were a freelancer, I'd hunt down those die-hard free speech supporters who back his right to say what he wants and make a buck or two selling their story on why they're so much more committed to their cause than others.
