It's college bowl season, so get ready for the, "Our conference is tougher than you thought. Our record speaks for itself" mumbo-jumbo after a 7-5 team wins one of these bowl games.

Perhaps the Big East will be able to claim "we're tougher than you thought" if UConn upsets Oklahoma in the Fiesta bowl. But that's only because the expectations are already so low for the Big East. And neither one is 6-6 or 7-5. UConn is 8-4, OK is 11-2.
